A Privileged Exchange Between EU Commissioner Apostolos Tzitzikostas and ECCKSA Transport & Logistics Committee 🇪🇺🇸🇦
On Monday, 10 November, members of the ECCKSA Transport & Logistics Committee had the privilege of meeting H.E. Apostolos Tzitzikostas, EU Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, together with his cabinet, representatives from DG MOVE and DG Tourism, and the EU Delegation to Saudi Arabia, led by H.E. Christophe Farnaud, Ambassador of the EU to KSA, and Timo Hammarén, Minister-Counsellor and Head of the Trade Section.
This high-level exchange provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the European Commission’s top representative on transport priorities and explore areas of mutual interest, including urban mobility, rail and logistics infrastructure, maritime and airport projects, and prospects for cooperation in innovation, transport, and sustainable fuels, all aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
As a platform fostering dialogue between leaders of European companies and institutional representatives, the ECCKSA was honoured to contribute to this exchange by providing insights from its members on the Kingdom’s transport and logistics sector, enriching the conversation with perspectives from European business.
